Dream It, Be It Workshop & Luncheon

SAR Dream It, Be It chair, Johann Drescher

The goal of the new Soroptimist global program Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls is that through education and access to role models, girls will be empowered to pursue their career goals and reach their full potential.

A special workshop and luncheon was held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Bonefish Grill in Woodbridge. 29 club members and guests from SI Alexandria, SI Manassas, SI Mid Atlantic On LIne, SI Raleigh, and SI Woodbridge attended this meeting.

SAR Dream It, Be It Chair, Johann Dretchen (SI Upper Montgomery County) lead this informative discussion, and took the group through the sections of curriculum to see how the program could be implemented. Johann did a wonderful job of explaining the program, so much so that members and guests left the meeting receptive to take on this new project.
